Northern Door Children’s Center celebrates 26 years of service to the community with a Spring Gala on Sunday, June 3 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at Bjorklunden Lodge in Baileys Harbor.
The 12th annual gala “Garden Party” offers delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts from the community’s finest chefs, along with wine sampling and the melodies of springtime in beautiful Door County. But, this event is really all about raising funds to help children and their hard-working parents in our community. The 2012 Northern Door Children’s Center Gala is an event that brings the taste of Door County’s best restaurants under one roof along with wines and an opportunity to purchase them at discounted prices. Guests may also participate in a silent auction filled with wonderful items donated by the many supporting Door County businesses that share a passion for quality early childhood education and care. A collection of themed baskets created by the children will become gifts to lucky guests of the Gala.

The event will also feature special Door County Idol performances by 2008 winner, Devin Thomas; 2011 winner and 2012 Miss Door County, Zephyr Ciesar; and 2012 winner and Miss Outstanding Teen, Lena MacDonald.
